We Reads: The Podcast, S2, Ep02: Dorothy Berry on Archives, Humanity, and Memory
This month, Dorothy Berry — lauded archivist and author of The House Archives Built & Other Thoughts on Black Archival Possibilities — joined We Reads: The Podcast for a discussion about her writing process, archives, her favorite reads as a child and young adult (hello German romanticism & European authors generally) and how family legacy shapes her professional and creative work. They also dive into the world of non-fiction, thanks to Dorothy’s love of the genre, so you’ll get some fun non-fiction recs to boot. 👀
